Description
curt-palme Store AmPro 4200 G CRT projector This is a great condition AmPro 4200 graphics video projector. This is a true 9" LC projector. EM focusing tubes that maintain their sharpness throughout the life of the tubes. It's got a very low hour count on it, (exact hour count unknown, the memory battery died and wiped it out), but there is ZERO wear on all tubes. None, nada. That would indicate to me a chassis and tube hour count of under 2000. THe set came from a rental company who says they haven't used it in 5 years. The tubes are bright and razor sharp. 80 Khz scan rate make it good for all formats of HDTV and good past line tripling. 1080p ready! c/w a single RGB input and a video/S-video input. The original AmPro remote is included. Digital convergence for an easy setup. 1000 lumens from 9" Sony tubes. True all glass HD-10 lenses take full advantage of the maximum resolution that the tubes put out. 100% modular construction in case of issues down the road. I've replaced the memory battery so it's now good for the life of the set. THe manual is included. THis set will outlast any new digital set. At 10,000+ hours expected tube life, this set does not need expensive light bulbs as with digital projectors. Step up to a 9" liquid coupled set for about the same price as a lower end 8" set. The pictures shown are actual screen shots taken from digital still images from my DVD player through a line doubler onto an 8' wide screen. For newbies I've written a 30 page FAQ explaining the pros and cons of CRT vs LCD and DLP projectors. Email me, and I'll send it to you. Feel free to call as well at (604) 514-1751. I am a CRT tech that has worked on over 2800 sets since 1985. I know many models inside and out and stock lots of parts in case you've bought one of those 'mint' sets that isn't quite mint after all. I take trades and will advise on what's best for you. No Reserve! Payment must be received within 10 days of the end of the auction Shipping & Handling to be paid by winning bidder, insurance extra Please look at my other items for sale!
