Description
GE Imager 310 CRT Front Projector - which is the same as an NEC DP1200S Projector. Currently set up in the ceiling mounted configuration and in full working condition. The pictures include actual images from this projector in my home theater. The flag and Nemo are shown in 480p, the football fan is in 1080i. This projector can be ceiling or floor mounted and is capable of 480i, 480p, 540p, 1080i, but is not compatible with 720p or 1080p. I just completed a gray scale calibration and has a really nice image. I have a copy of the calibration results, a copy of the user manual, and an electronic copy of the service manual. Comes with the matching switcher, a spare switcher, ceiling mount, 25 foot RGBHV cable, and a wired service remote. Has BNC inputs for RGBHV, and Composite Video. The switcher accepts composite, s-video, and RGBHV inputs (not component or HDMI). There is some wear on the tubes from a text crawler in its former life, but it is not very visible when the screen image is adjusted to 16:9 aspect ratio. It shows up as a slight discoloration on the bottom of the projected image when ceiling mounted. I am using this on a 96” wide screen, but it would be brighter on a smaller screen such as 70” – 80”. This projector is placed about 11 feet from the screen, so it can be used in small home theaters. The door on the projector control and the switcher do not close because the door catch has been broken off. This does not affect their operation.Due to the size and weight (112 lbs), local pick-up only. This will be removed from my ceiling before the auction has ended, so we can’t show it in place, but I will project against the wall when you pick it up, if you wish. Due to its age I will have to sell this As-Is, but I can show it is in working condition. It is heavy, but we can schedule a time when I can help the winning bidder load it in their vehicle. Good luck bidding! My other current listings: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZ944maryann
