Boot your PC from hda with the CD for your TiVo hda IDE Primary Master To be your CDROM which has the CD marked BOOT. Set CDROM to Master. hdb IDE Primary Slave To be your Drive from your TiVo or a replacement Drive for your TIVO Set TiVo Drive to Slave Simply insert the CD into then CDROM and start the computer. If the computer does not start up booting from the CDROM then change your computer bios setting to boot cdrom drive first. 2. Installation Step 2 {ALL TYPING IS CASE SENSITIVE} After your computer boots up Just hit the ENTER key when asked too. and ENTER again when asked again. Type at the “/#” prompt cdrom When asked Select 2 for Step 2 The computer will reboot when Step 2 finishes. If the computer powers off instead of rebooting then power back on the computer so you can continue to Step 3 3. Installation Step 3 {ALL TYPING IS CASE SENSITIVE} After your computer boots up Just hit the ENTER key when asked too. and ENTER again when asked again. Type at the “/#” prompt cdrom When asked Select 3 for Step 3 The computer will poweroff when Step 3 finishes. 4. Finished Set TiVo Drive to Cable Select before putting back into TiVo.
