It has a switch to select the currency and plays NTSC (North America) and PAL (Europe) laser discs. Special feature is the douple side readability, so you don't have to turn the laser disc over. There is a small fault in this player: It does not always recognize the laser disc at the first time but I had no difficulties to have the disc accepted and played after some trials. This is a high end laser disc player that was not cheap in the 80's. It is offered here for a great bargain.
