The Pioneer "700" series has become an industry standard for full featured high-end performance . The CLD-D704 continues this tradition by offering variable digital video noise reduction. When activated, the V-DNR allows manual on-screen adjustment of both high frequency (detail) and colour (chroma) video noise. This allows exact matching of the player's video high frequency output with your monitors input sensitivity. The result is maximum resolution, with minimum noise caused by the monitor input circuit overdrive. The CLD-D704's video signal-to-noise ration is 51db. Other features include a new "quick turn" mechanism, AC3 output jack, digital optical and coaxial output jacks for use with DTS surround sound decoders, separate drawer for CD's, full time base correction in all modes, digital freeze frame and video special effects on CLV discs, 3 line digital comb filter with S-video output.
